Theodore Hangon pleaded guilty to intoxication and speeding, facing a $50 fine or 15 days in jail. Officials Fined for Fighting in Oslwein Court
In Oslwein Iowa July 31 Fred Jen king was fined 12.95 including costs after a superior court trial on assault and battery charges. The case, brought by Paul Hayes, followed an incident after Jenkins drove away from a collision with Itha neves coupe while backing toward a jack.
Antenuptial Contract Defines Property Rights After Marriage
An antenuptial contract dated January 21 1915 was filed for record. It states Gerhard Ludemann of Cedar Falls and Ida M B Smith of Cincinnati Ohio plan marriage and each would keep own property if marriage occurred, denying dower rights. Ludemann agrees to a life estate for his wife in the southeast quarter of section 4 township 92 range 18 in Butler County after his death.

Waterloo city council holds a special meeting to adopt revised ordinances prepared by city attorney Harry M. Reed. To legalize changes each ordinance must be passed separately before adopting the book as a whole.
