Waterloo Chautauqua Plans in Jeopardy as Stock Sells Poor
Prospects for the Waterloo Chautauqua association look grim as only about half the needed stock has been subscribed. If workers fail to raise $13,060 in 24 hours, the old grounds will be sold for demolition and the new group may dissolve. An Evangelical association bid for grounds is discussed, but no action yet. The coming meeting in town may decide the organization’s fate.
