Wolf Estate Shrinks as Widow and Creditors Dominate
Attorneys report the late C C Wolf of Parkersburg left little for heirs after debts and widow’s share. Forced sales yielded small equities and creditors may not be fully paid. Wolf’s large holdings in Dart Truck and Tractor Co and Elk Ran suffered heavy losses. He once pledged $25,000 to Upper Iowa University, which sued to recover in stock value.
