Town Not Resigned Over Two Sisters Living Apart
Ruth Cameron writes on family, sibling bonds, and the shift from a fixed home to flexible living. The piece reflects on two middle aged sisters who chose separate residences, the town's gossip, and how their relationship matured. It argues that keeping some old interests and occasional distance can strengthen marriages and family life. A church picnic at Elk Run with a wiener roast closes the excerpt.
