Wild Flowers of Iowa Giving Way Before Progress
Charles City Va July 18 The State Conservation association summer convention closed after two days and three evenings with most speakers attending. Two picnics for visitors were held at Wildwood park and Brad ford Little Brown church. Dr B Shimek Iowa City spoke on Our Vanishing Wild Flowers stressing preservation of native flora and public sentiment to protect state parks and beauty spots from tourist destruction.
