Home Artists Shine In West High Broadcast Bill
An enjoyable program of vocal instrumental and orchestral humor was broadcast last night from West High School auditorium by local musicians via a portable station, WJAZ, sent by Zenith Radio Chicago. J S Tuthill spoke on Waterloo resources, noting 169 manufacturing plants and Illinois Central rail activities. The Black and White orchestra, Miss Leah Kickelbere, Rodney Finlayson, Miss Ethel Brinkman, and others performed as microphones and amplifiers set on stage. WJAZ tours the country for better summer broadcasting and reception.
