Mary Melrose chapter hosts a farewell dinner for Mrs A G Sawyer at Blart tearoom. The Sawyers plan a motor trip east through Canada to the St Lawrence River and Thousand Islands. Mr Sawyer, long with G F Harvey pharma, recently shifted his territory to Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Mrs Sawyer active in many clubs and wartime relief efforts.

Kiwanis Seek Tourists Camp Fee and Police Patrol

OWA Boys Camp Morrison opens with Iowa youths

Thirty five boys from all Iowa sections depart Waterloo tomorrow for a ten day Camp Morrison trip. The Episcopal Brotherhood of St Andrew sponsors the camp with G Lawson Willard as director and Rev Lewis Mathews as chaplain. Local leaders include Don Gary Water­loo and Y M C A representatives.

Ben Hur Picnic Planned for Wednesday Night

Local members of the Ben Hur lodge and their families will stage the annual picnic at Cedar River park Wednesday evening. A picnic dinner will be served at 6190, followed by games and contests.
