Iowa Roads In Fine Shape With Minimal Detours
The seventh district covering Grundy to Allamakee counties has only two detours remaining. Most roads are gravel with paving and grading advancing on routes 9 10 and 28. Road 11 south of Independence will gain six miles of grading and several bridges. A midwest crash near Shambaugh left Albert M. Dambar severely injured while three others escaped with minor injuries.
