Three Aaldo Fails to Reveal Liquor at Raid
Three raids conducted yesterday by Sheriff H. T. Wagner and two deputies with detective Ralph Waris yielded no liquor. One intoxicated man was arrested near the ball park. Sheriff Wagner discussed anonymous tips and stressed the need for informants to reveal themselves, noting that information from anonymous letters or calls has rarely produced results. Federal officer R. Adams praised crowd order, citing patrols at Electric Park and other spots during a holiday, while warning about illegal distillers and inflated profits from illicit liquor.
