Oliver W. Eason aged 45 of 614 Ninth Street West died at 10 p.m. yesterday after a 2 10 months illness from sarcoma. Born October 1881 in Orange Township he lived in Black Hawk county all his life. He attended Waterloo schools and graduated from West High. He married Elizabeth Hattnagie February 12, 1908. Eason was a member of the Rotary Club and Knights of Pythias. For 12 years he operated the Iowa Flour & Feed at 321 Sixth Street West. Surviving: widow, son Oliver Warren. mother Mrs. Hattie Eason. sister Mrs. Clarence Wine.
