City Improvement Bonds eyed by Waterloo council
Public notice from Waterloo Iowa and surrounding area indicates the city council will meet on the twelfth day of July 1940 at 8:60 p.m. in the council chambers to consider final passage of a resolution providing for the issuance of City Improvement Bonds totaling $18,000 dated August 1 1926 at four and one half percent interest. The notice, issued by Mayor Mackay and the City Clerk, calls attention to the bond plan financing street improvements in the city. Also included is a receivership sale notice for the Fred L Kinball Company assets in Waterloo. The sale is scheduled for July 28 at ten a.m. at the receiver's office, detailing the real and personal property to be sold in bulk without appraisal.
