Waterloo post office reports year ending June 30 1926 total receipts of 451393 27 an increase of 62965 19 over prior year. Business and receipts have nearly doubled in 16 years with six months of 1926 showing higher figures than the prior period.
The six month total reached 269179.27 dollars with yearly gains in postal receipts over the past 19 years. Quarterly figures for the year ending yesterday include August-September 86600.92, October-December 105616.08, January-March 150,?88.94, April-June 108414.53, total 491595.27, compared with 1994-95 quarterly totals of 72843.83, 68449.84, 136423.64, 97741.30. Dorothy Clare Push ea daughter of Mr and Mrs G F Push ea, 1229 Forcept avenue, injured by a broken milk bottle resulting in several stitches to the left wrist.
