Legion Auxiliary at Dunkerton Adds 23 Names to Roster
Dunkerton Iowa January 29 Twenty three members were added to the local American Legion Auxiliary after a membership contest. The unit now totals 180 members. Awards for costumes went to Mrs Archie Shimp Miss Edith Bunn Arthur Holimen and George Kleckner at a Legion Hall party held last night.

Christ Episcopal Church Named Host for Diocesan Meet
Christ Episcopal Church Waterloo will host the seventy-eighth annual Episcopal Diocese of Town convention. The 1930 meeting is set for early spring with date to be determined. Rev E B Mounsey was named bishop and council member and secretary. he was chair of missions and re-elected dean of the Dubuque deanery. Mrs Mounsey elected delegate to provincial synod to Montana. Attendance low due to bad weather. delegates from Waterloo include Rev E B Mounsey Paul Bromberg and J A Gary with Mrs Mounsey and Mrs Bromberg. St Mark’s represented by Mr and Mrs C O Lamson and their son Russell.
