Will Not Probe Nuris Actions in Making Dates
New York has indications that an expected investigation into the charge that Peago Nur influenced officials to skip the Masonic indoor track and field meet in favor of the Prout memorial games in Boston will probably not occur. A letter from George Keiser, president of the Masonic games committee, to the AAU ends the affair. Keiser says the charge against Normity Jack Harris was unauthorized and that Harris acted on his own initiative and resigned as secretary of the committee.
