No Settlement With Hell Telephone Workers
Local electrical workers union and management of the Cedar Hell Telephone Company failed to reach a settlement after three meetings since the June 13, 1913 strike. New management rejected union recognition, arbitration was proposed, and workers were to return with no wage increase but improved conditions. The strike disrupted operations and left members out of work in the period described.
