Radio Scout Group Opens at Suffern Headquarters

The Boy Scout radio school began at the Suffern headquarters last night with 26 boys registered and expected to rise to 40 by next Friday. Courses include elementary electricity and magnetism for radio instruments, with a radio club to be organized later to sustain interest. Nine of the city Eagle Scouts mapped a yearlong program, proposing monthly instruction days at headquarters and a flying pep squadron to visit troop meetings for entertainment, plans that won assent for the annual rally in February.
