Des Moines reports W S Smith a 35 year old Harvey farmer arraigned before federal commissioner E B Fitzsimmons on charges of transporting Belle Chambers a 21 year old from Harvey to Osage Canada. Information filed by Belle Chambers’ father J B Chambers. Smith arrested at Harvey by Deputy U S Marshal Vanderwilt. The information says Smith and Belle went to Osage in December 1912 and have been away together several times since. Both described as well to do farmers.
