In Sioux City on January 13, Cilo Chesterman 3708 George Street is described as a lively 90 year old English immigrant who walks daily two miles, runs a home business, tends his trees and garden, and remains head of Chesterman Company. He is noted for humor and interest in English events including Queen Victoria, Lady Astor, and English parliamentary changes. He settled in LeMars in 1881, moved to Sioux City in 1884, and lives near Douglas Street. Details of his personality and long life are sketched amid local reminiscences and reflections on America’s recent history. DRAMA LEAGUE PLANS. A ripping farce comedy followed by a cone opera and a drama was decided upon for the immediate program of the Drama League at a meeting of the executive committee last night in the West Club Room of the Greater Waterloo association. The first will be produced.
