Des Moines January 8 The secondary road program to be offered to the Town legislature next week in the form of a bill drafted by A G Whitney chief code editor at the instance of the secondary road commission appointed by Governor Hammill may prove a bigger dish for legislative consumption than anticipated. The bill aims to absorb and correlate vital auxiliary laws relating to secondary roads but will not cover all highway complexities. The plan is to present a concise bill for early consideration so ample time remains for correlating minor statutes involving drainage laws road assessments weed control county bond issues and other contingencies that affect the program. Night sessions are seen as likely as legislators face taxation questions and speed up work of the legislature.
