Infant on doorstep to take place of child in Iowa town
A four month old male infant was found on the doorstep of Mr and Mrs R B Russey of Marion Iowa on January 8 in a basket with a note from a caregiver asking them to adopt him. The Russeys, who recently lost a child, plan to raise the infant as their own. The baby, born December 16, 1919, slept well after being taken in and seemed healthy.
