Waterloo drives to aid European and Near East relief
A Waterloo committee of 23 prominent residents leads a drive to raise funds for European child relief and Near East refugees. The plan sets Waterloo and Black Hawk county targets at 12000 and 18000 dollars respectively to feed, clothe, and provide medical aid amid ongoing relief efforts coordinated with Des Moines and national leaders including Herbert Hoover.
