Detectives nab bootleggers after long chase in Gladbrook
Georgan Phillips and Charles Brunn of Gladbrook Iowa faced charges of illegal transportation of liquor after a high speed pursuit on the Hudson road. Ten one gallon cans of alcohol were found in their light touring car. Both men were taken to the parks station. Braun locked up while Phillips posted surety. Police also seized liquor at 467% Fifth Street West from Mrs Jenni Ely in a raid. she is held for illegal possession.
