One Republican Among Chickasaw County Officers
Changes at the Chickasaw County courthouse were minor this year with R J Klatt a Democrat replacing his defeated opponent in the auditor's office. The county board approved Klatt's bond and he took office at 1 o'clock. Klatt's sister Louise will be deputy. R P Blankenheim, a Democrat, is county attorney. G M Batley will become coroner after Dr S B Satler retires. C A Upham began his first elected term after serving since August following Sheriff Attleson’s suspension. L J Jarchow, O F L Albright, and Emilia Herzog were reelected along with all supervisors. Republicans now hold only the treasurer post and five of six board seats remain with Republicans.
