Sherwood Youth Dies After Mother's Rites
Kenneth Sherwood aged 16 dies of scarlet fever at 7 15 p m shortly after his mother passed away in Sherwood city. He was a junior at East High School and played football as substitute center. Surviving family includes his father and grandparents with double burial planned. body at the inner mortuary.

Engineers plan humidified air system for new building
Pendlevian engineers aim to maintain the equivalent of 4 387 gallons of water in the air of the completed building. The system targets 50 percent humidity and 70 degree temperature. Sixteen miles of ventilation ducts will carry the humidified air cir cu lated by 50 large fans. The air will be changed every 10 minutes, described by architect Walter W. Ahlschinger as the greatest undertaking in humidifying ever faced by engineers.
