Hughes Found Guilty On Vagrancy Charge
Millard Hughes former superintendent of the Waterloo mission was found guilty of vagrancy in police court this morning and fined fifty dollars or 15 days in jail. Judge Meyers suspended the sentence if Hughes left the city by 4 PM. Several north side businessmen testified he repeatedly begged for money and became a nuisance.

Willing to forgive unfaithful husband in white slavery case
