Wife of Hampton publisher dies in Iowa
Funeral services were held for Mrs. T. L. Stuart in Hampton Iowa after she died Saturday morning at Lutheran hospital from heart disease. A 62 year old wife of the senior publisher of Franklin County Recorder, she had been in failing health for years. Survived by her mother Mrs. E. Clemmer of Hampton, her husband, a son Attorney R. R. Stuart of Hampton, and a daughter Mrs. J. C. Bagley of Audubon.

Mrs Stanley Brayton Dies at Hampton Farm Home
Mrs. Stanley Brayton Ella Philpott Brayton died at her parents home in Hampton on Saturday morning after her birth to a son born Friday afternoon. She was 32, born near Chapin, worked as a clerk and bookkeeper for Ferris Nursery, married Stanley Brayton on February 14, 1927, and had lived on a farm southeast of town. Survived by husband, her parents, two sisters and five brothers.

Final Rites for David Nutt in La Porte
Funeral services for David Nutt father of Mrs. G H Nies, who died at his Waterloo home after a long illness, will be held Tuesday at 3 PM at the Presbyterian church in La Porte with 1:30 PM services at the Waterloo home. Natal Anniversary of Manchester Woman Honored
Mrs. F. Dutton hosted 35 guests at East Main street Manchester to mark the eighty ninth birthday of Mary E. Faragher one of the city’s oldest residents. Born Clyde February 24 1839 she moved with her parents to Jones county and Monticello at age 14. Her father bought three eighty acre prairie sections from the government at 1.25 an acre now valued around 200 per acre. A house and outbuildings were built, and she married in Monticello in August 1856.
