Russian Front Advances and Pskov Recaptured
Large portions of Volhynia and Ukraine fell as German forces pressed southward. Pskov, 175 miles southwest of Petrograd, was recaptured by Bolsheviks amid street fighting. Red Guards resisted German advances across the front as Russia neared a Brest Litovsk negotiation update. The Moscow relocation of Americans and broader peace terms dominated dispatches.
