Longtime Iowa farmer Oliver Yerrick dies at 86
Oliver Yerrick died at 9 30 am at his home 318 Irving Street after a year and a half of paralysis. Born January 25 1841 in Norton Township Summit County Ohio he moved to Naperville Illinois then Marble Rock Iowa before farming near Waterloo. He married Lucena Fish May 30 1867 at Waverly settling at Marble Rock. He farmed until 1891 then moved to Waterloo. Surviving are daughter Mrs Ida Burge 318 Irving Street three grandchildren and five sisters. Funeral plans include services at Petersen Bros chapel and burial at Hillside Cemetery Marble Rock.
