Nice Folks Big Gate Would Please Tex at Miami Struggle
Miami Beach Feb 22 United Press Sport. With RRs gate receipts near 300000 the Young Stribling vs Jack Sharkey bout grows into a major enterprise. Both camps fret over fitness while Sharkey enjoys a beer session and Stribling keeps up walkouts. Measurements show little edge in reach weight or height as both fighters train at the Miami Beach Rownd club. The Sharkey camp suspects Stribling punches low in sparring, a concern the Georgia heavyweight’s team counters by noting opponents are taller and that lower punches can miss the target.
