Dr Leroy Burton president of the University of Michigan dies after a relapse from pleurisy at Arbor Michigan. He suffered influenza since November 1924 and had been unable to participate in university affairs. Born Brookly n Iowa August 30 1874 he studied at Carleton Yale and Smith College and served as president of Minnesota and Michigan universities. He helped nominate Calvin Coolidge at the Cleveland Republican convention in 1924. Funeral arrangements to be announced.
