Intervener Claims Buick Car Belongs to Buick Co
In Webster County district court John H. Myers for Buick Company files an intervention in forfeiture and sale of a Buick automobile seized by H. P. Mason. The intervener asserts a conditional sale mortgage leaves ownership with Buick and $894 due. W. W. Warren of Fort Dodge pled guilty to illegal transportation and was fined $450 after the car, registered in Webster County, was seized for unlawful use. County Attorney J. W. Gwynne later moved to demur, contending ownership remains with Buick and no lien is a valid claim on forfeiture proceeds.
