Indians End Hatchet Burying Pact At Tama Reservation
Indian factions on the Tama reservation led by Amos Morgan and Albert Moore consented to peace after Commissioner Stoddard, with Dr Jacob Breid, heard testimonies of clandestine meetings and assaults. Moore agreed to leave the reservation. Morgan to refrain from molesting him. Mrs Morgan vowed to end dealings with Moore. A second note reports Miss Byrle Thackery dies from injuries after a run away west of Eldora.
