Legion Joins In Patriotic Meet On Washington Birthday
The Becker-Chapman post of the American Legion votes to participate in the patriotic program on Washington's Birthday February 22. It will also present the French memorial to ex service men and to relatives of World War dead at First Congregational Church. Duncan Clark, Chicago journalist, will deliver the principal address under the Sons and Daughters of the Revolution. The program focuses on patriotism and Americanism and aims to recruit about 1000 members in 20 days.
