Gladstone Actel project growing in Gladstone hotel plan
The Northwestern Land and Investment company promotes sale of about 560 building lots at Chotee and Downing streets to fund the Gladstone hotel. Cold weather hampers efforts, but premier DLT Janay backs the project. Three experienced salesmen Cravens, Hickey, and Lyle join to push sales and reach finality. Additional lots and stock are noted as remaining to be disposed, with activity centered on Jefferson Street corner. A jewelry factory change assigns ownership from Reo M.Cawing & Co to L. Raumbach for future operations at Marsh Place Edge room A15.
