Pen sentence for shoplifting wife and husband
Hannibal Davis and his wife Bella pleaded guilty in district court to shoplifting two dresses valued at eighty dollars. Each was sentenced to five years in prison, Davis in the state penitentiary and Mrs. Davis in the Rockwell City women's reformatory.

Lynch Released Burglary Parole Still in Force
John Lynch, who surrendered at Cedar Rapids after release on parole, was released again yesterday afternoon. He had misrepresented his employment status, but officers did not revoke the 10 year burglary sentence parole. Two cars stolen last evening were recovered by police early today. S A Christensen 819 Fairview avenue had his vehicle found in the 500 block on Parker street. M E Bachtell 357 Butler street had hers found on Park avenue and Sycamore street. Robey 115 High Street reported theft of a blanket heater two pairs of overshoes and a jack from his car. C J Schones 316 Fremont street reported theft of two blankets and a set of chains from his car.
