Forty five graduates and students gathered for a banquet at Hotel Russell-Lamson to revamp the Black Hawk Branch of the Iowa State College Alumni Association. E. B. Tel was elected secretary treasurer and officers named for the coming year as plans to enhance Ames athletics and alumni roles began. Prof Buck Coover announced new athletic leadership aims, with four outstanding coaches identified and more to be added, as Ames prepares for stronger athletic support.
