New Blue Sky Law Drafted To Curb Stock Frauds

A trio of attorneys general drafted a new form of blue sky law to curb stock and bond fraud. The plan, led by Michigan’s Grant Fellows Arkansas’s William Moose and Iowa’s George Cosson, aims to be adopted nationwide and used to inspect offerings and deter fraud without regulating the firms themselves. If Iowa adopts it, current Iowa and federal cases on existing laws may be withdrawn.
