Scientists study worms complex in crime career
Scientists presented new evidence that growth laws, heredity, and instinct govern social institutions, humans, animals, and plants. Dr. F Stuart Chapin argued a social law of growth could predict future development, drawing parallels with Detroit's city growth and Michigan government changes. Professor Middleton showed hereditary traits persist beyond diets in paramecia. Kepner and Nittycombe demonstrated a worm instinct linking theft and self-protection endures across generations even after its cause is removed.
