More Locomotives to Be Constructed in 1925 Forecast
New York Dec 26 Buying of equipment by railroads at a higher scale than in recent years and a larger locomotive construction volume are forecast for 1925 says American Machinist in its machine tool market report for the week. December machinery sales surpassed October and November, with steel mills at about 80 percent production. The report notes ongoing gains in steel output and a strong manufacturing outlook for motor vehicle production next year.
