American Ass'n to Open April 12 for 168 Game Schedule
Chicago December 21 Club owners of the American Association met to adjust the 168 game schedule adopted last night. The 1922 season will start Wednesday April 12 the same day as the major leagues. President Hickey said no action would be taken on Judge Landis draft plan despite the advisory board recommendation. The draft proposal offered $5000 for any player drafted from class AA leagues. The minor major agreement still has six years to run and no need to break the contract.

The piece also ponders design questions, shoe wear, street crossing behavior, and inquiries into Havviokt and animal crackers.
