Pedersen Sues Fellow Officers Over Stock Control
In Des Moines a district court petition alleges Frank A. Long C. W. Teten J. E. Ridénour G. Vanderpel and C A Rodríguez conspired to issue enough stock to oust Pedersen from president and general manager. Pedersen claims a Coriant stock tie gave others control and seeks injunction and bond. Pedersen was recently arrested on a warrant charging misappropriation of about $18,000.

Wheat Acreage Drops Markedly in Iowa This Fall
Iowa reports from the cooperative crop reporting service show winter wheat sown in the state fell 62 percent from last fall to 458,000 acres, due to farmers returning to normal seeding after wartime highs, dry weather, and soil conditions.
