West Schools Decide Two Weeks Vacation Over Fuel

J E Dempster secretary of the west board of education sent a letter to Charles Van Vieck of the Commercial club stating the board weighed the closing of public schools for a month. They have ample fuel to cover to March first and oppose a full closing, endorsing a two weeks break. SUFFRAGE VOTE JAN 10. Washington Dec 18 vote in house on woman suffrage constitutional amendment to occur Jan 10 is assured as rules committee approves that plan.
