Water Power Policy Urged by Interior Secretary in Taft Report
Secretary Walter Fisher urges a comprehensive water power policy for streams on public domain and navigable waters not on the domain. He calls for expanded leasing of public lands, Alaska coal and mineral development, and withdrawal of western lands to conserve headwaters with civil service pension recommendations.
