6-Year-Old Boy Killed by Auto Des Moines
Des Moines December 12 a 6 year old, Martin Murphy Jr., was hurled from a road wheelbarrow by an automobile at Southwest Ninth and Windsor streets. He died two hours after arrival at Mercy hospital from a fractured skull. The boy's brother Eddie 24 and neighbor Merlin Burke were involved prior to the accident.
