Finances in good condition at the board meeting
Finances were found to be in encouraging condition by the M. C. board of directors at its regular monthly meeting yesterday. The budget for the year shows a small deficit due to reroofing and heating repairs, to be covered by the new budget. Departments reported pleasing activity, notably the Collected Boys club under R. Clare Heald, and a week with many churches and banquets totaling 6,383 in attendance. Gym classes grow and Bible study attendance rises, with a large Bible study fleet and a new high school class. The Patch campaign will be delayed to spring.
