The entry under school gardens will feature cabbage tomatoes and other late produce while children are taken to the fair by Mrs. Cadwallader. Carmack Slayer Found Murdered by Glody Auto
The body of Robin J. Cooper, prominent Nashville lawyer who killed Edward W. Carmack in 1908, was found in Richland Creek near Belle Meade Park. Prices Totter as Tubers Come from More Fruitful Field
Prices on the public market slipped as large consignments of imported potatoes arrived, selling at 40 rents a peck, a drop of about 45 percent from recent levels. Two railcars were shipped from the north, and tomato prices followed the trend, shedding to around 40 cents per bushel.
