One twig twenty inches long bore 26 plums while another carried 19 on a cluster totaling five inches in circumference. He sprayed last spring and expects about three bushels per tree. The purplish red fruit has thick flesh and pits. Mrs August Lang of Spring Creek brought seven large pears and plums, noting the plum crop is abundant and many farmers waste fruit.
