East High forms 100 piece band and 84 instrument orchestra
A new Haast High School band of 100 players and an 84 piece orchestra are planned by G T Bennett the new instrumental music director who began duties recently. An information meeting is set for Wednesday 2 to 4 PM in the East High music room to attract new students and discuss participation. Bennett, formerly of Sioux Falls and Rockford, aims to have a peppy band for school and community events and seeks old instruments for donation or sale.
