Harry Reed Back From West Tells Many Adventures
City attorney Harry M. Reed and wife return from Yellowstone with James Graham and children. They recount dramatic incidents at Old Faithful, a near accident on canyon sand, and a hot spring scalding. Reed notes rising tourism, Denver tub culture, and a freak Yellowstone fish tale. Tigers beat Cedar Falls Pirates 5–2 in Cedar River park.

Mayor Mrs C E Daniels and two women councilors led opposition to easing the rules. Some locals now favor a tightly controlled town venue with restrictions rather than distant dances with long rides home.
