City Sends Next Quota Sept 6
Eight thousand Iowa registrants will be called for general military service to Camp Dodge Sept 3 to 6 and 600 limited service men will be called from this state on the same dates to Camp Funston Fort Riley Kan according to word received by the local exemption board this morning. Local board reports 74 Class I of 1918 and four or five Class 1 of 1917. Deserter policy and enlistment figures are discussed, with entrainment orders for four men to report to Camp Dodge Aug 30.
